Notation Knives

Hi there! I've got another new tape out today on Hong Kong label Mouhoi.
Notation Knives is, I think, the release that I'm most proud of to date. It's deeply personal, and I think a good representation of the music I've made since starting the project. They're songs I've written all within the last year or so, and the title track includes the first field recording I ever took with intention of writing music with it some day. I usually try to treat songs for this project like poems in a diary, and I hoped to capture anything from mundane anxiety to profound loneliness, to moments shared with loved ones.
You can listen to the full tape on the Mouhoi bandcamp here, and order tapes from there. I'll have a very small number of copies in Toronto.
The tape looks like this:

Max (Death Kneel) made a bandcamp for his label, Life of Sensation. He released my first and third tapes for me. He's an endless inspiration to me and motivates and supports me, this project, and everything I do endlessly. I think he makes some of the most interesting music of its kind, and the short-format tapes he has been producing over the last 2 years or so are all incredible. Check out 4 Death Kneel release, 2 Nimmie Amee and 1 from Moss Harvest here.
I've shipped out a few copies of *Three-Fall Dam*, with some more going out this weekend.
Thanks for listening!
