Notation Knives
Hi there! I've got another new tape out today on Hong Kong label Mouhoi. Notation Knives is, I think, the release that I'm most proud of to date. It's deeply personal, and I think a good representation of the music I've made since starting the project. They're songs I've written all within the last year or so, and the title track includes the first field recording I ever took with intention of writing music with it some day. I usually try to treat songs for this project like poems in a diary, and I hoped to capture anything from mundane anxiety to profound loneliness, to moments shared with loved ones.
